My time in New York

In 2014, I went to New York for the chance to win a big national tournament. I really loved the experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was my favorite memory because I got to play against west coast players and it was a really cool experience to talk to them and see the difference in playing in California and North Carolina. It was a great time. Thanks for listening to my story and my memories from the trip.


Ken Griffey Jr. Sets new Hall of Fame ballot record

Ken “The Kid” Griffey Jr was elected into the hall of fame yesterday. It was a landslide. Griffey received 437 of the 440 votes for the hall of fame. 99.3% of the votes. He finished his career at .286. This will be the first time he has ever looked at the other plaques of baseball legends, because he said, “When I go in there, I want to be a part of it.” He now has no choice. Congratulations Kid, you deserved it.

Draymond Green records 3rd consecutive triple double

The Warriors emerging star forward, Draymond Green recorded his 3rd triple double in last nights win against the Hornets. He posted a 13/10/15 last night in 37 minutes. He is 1 of only 5 players to accomplish this feat in the past 20 years. Lebron, Grant Hill, Jason Kidd, Westbrook are the only other players to do this. He and the streaking Warriors look to power past the struggling Lakers tonight.

Yankees making splash in trade pool

Tuesday December 29th, The hardest throwing baseball player in history, Aroldis Chapman was traded to the Yankees from Cincinnati. The Reds acquired two minor leaguers for the hard throwing left hander. The Yankees had to take a risk to acquire him, because having domestic violence allegations certainly does not help his case. All eyes will be on the Cuban Missile in Spring Training to see how he continues to grow as a player, as well as fitting in with his new team.
